Depending on the nature of the alleged Prohibited Conduct, complaints and reports will be dealt with by either Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) or by the Australian Flying Disc Association (AFDA).
Child Safeguarding complaints will be dealt with initially by Sport Integrity Australia.
Similarly, SIA will handle Member Protection complaints alleging discrimination due to the Protected Characteristics:
- age;
- disability;
- race or ethnicity;
- sex or gender identity;
- sexual orientation; or
- religion.
AFDA will handle Complaints and Reports alleging Prohibited Behaviour under other integrity policies and other aspects of the Member Protection policy:
- Competition Manipulation and Sport Gambling Policy;
- Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy;
- other parts of the Member Protection Policy;
- AFDA Code of Conduct Policy.
AFDA will apply the AFDA Complaints Disputes and Discipline Policy to manage these complaints.
AFDA (and SIA) will apply Sport Integrity Australia’s SIA NIF Guidance For Complaint Management and Sanctioning to the assessment of appropriate case handling methods and then sanctions should allegations be substantiated.
Quick facts about the Complaint process
Complaints can only be made by the person directly affected by the alleged Prohibited Conduct or by their Parent or Carer if the Complainant is a Vulnerable Person (under 18 years or other relevant vulnerability).
Complaints cannot be made anonymously.
Reports may be made anonymously but there will be limitations on the extent to which anonymous Reports can be pursued by SIA or AFDA.
Complaints and Reports must be made using the relevant online form below.
All Complaints/Reports under the AFDA policies must be provided to either SIA or AFDA – not to affiliated organisations such as State Members, ADG, clubs, teams etc.
AFDA’s National Integrity and Complaint Manager is available to assist potential Complainants and Reporters with information about the system, how to complain and how to identify Prohibited Conduct and the relevant policy prior to the submission of a Complaint or Report.

AFDA receives and handles all other complaints from all levels of flying disc sports, both Ultimate and Disc Golf.

Use this form for making Report – that is where you are not the subject of the alleged Prohibited Conduct or where you wish to remain anonymous.
