Safety, Insurance and Risk Management

General Information

AFDA provides event-based insurance cover for participants taking part in AFDA activities, including activities conducted by:

  • AFDA
  • AFDA Member Organisations
  • Affiliated clubs operating under a Member Organisation

Insurance cover for Member Organisations and affiliated clubs is subject to participants being registered in an AFDA-approved registration system for the relevant activity.

  • Ultimate Central is AFDA’s primary national registration system.
  • GameDay is an approved registration platform only where AFDA has formally authorised its use (currently Western Australia as a trial state).

Participants who take part in an AFDA-authorised event or activity – whether delivered by AFDA, a Member Organisation, or an affiliated club – without being registered in the applicable AFDA-approved registration system may not be eligible for insurance cover.
